Funny things the girls say....and more park fun!

We met a bunch of friends at the park this week, and the girls had a blast, they got filthy as usual, but love playing outside with friends.  So thankful that we live on base now, and I feel safe enough to let the kids play outside by themselves, with neighbor kids.  They have so much fun!

The girls are obsessed with playing hospital lately.  I was listening in to them play yesterday, and overheard Emma telling Gracie, "OK, Gracie you are the nurse, and I'll be the hospital this time."  They think a hospital is a person. :)  
Last saturday when I was running errands, Gracie was sitting on the couch watching TV with Steven.  She turned to Steven and said, "Daddy, I don't want any tattoos on me, but someday, I want to be the person to draw tattoos on people when I grow up."  Steven started cracking up, probably not the best thing to let your daughter watch Ink Master or NY Ink with you.

Abby 16 months!

Abby, our sweet little one, you are getting so big!  You are starting to walk, a little bit....you are having more and more fun playing with your sisters, especially Gracie, who you share a special bond.  Your hair is starting to curl, and your eyes are still a pretty grey color!  We love you, our sweet baby girl!

I'm back! Fun in Florida!

One of my goals for 2012, is to be a more consistent blogger.....for my husband who is going to be gone most of the spring and early summer, and my family in OK!  We went to Florida with my husband while he went to ASO school, and had a fabulous time!  His schedule was fantastic, 8-4....amazing, and now we are back to 12 hour days.... boo....but we enjoyed it while we could!  The best part of our trip was playing at the beach, visiting our old church and seeing great friends, and our trip to Disney World!  We ha such a great vacation, but I'm kind of sad that I didn't take more pictures, because now I want to see all of our great memories, but at the time, I really wanted to just enjoy our children and the precious family time....which we did....7 days at Disney World....and every minute was fantastic!  Here a just a few fun pics from Florida!

 We played at many parks in Pensacola, the weather was beautiful, mid 70's and Steven was actually home before dark, so he even joined us some days!

Happy Birthday USMC!

We had a fabulous time at the ball this year!  It is so much getting to get pampered, dressing up in a nice gown, and having a night away without kids!  Thanks so much to the Cellon family for watching our kiddos overnight!  This year I got my nails done, my hair curled, and eyelash extensions, and I love them!  I have had blond stubs for eyelashes my whole life, and having pretty lashes now, I could totally keep this up, and I think I will for the holiday season!



Got my dress at a yard sale for $20, and I loved it, very comfy and loose! :)



My husband looks pretty good in uniform! :)  I must admit, it's one of my favorite parts of the ball, seeing Steven dressed up!  Lookin good babe!

We had an owl theme birthday party for Emma and Abby at the park by our house!  It was a ton of fun, super simple, just desserts, and the kiddos loved it!



Emma wanted to blow out Abby's candle too!



Made these owls from pinterest, really cute, but really time consuming!

Happy Halloween!

I was going to make their Halloween cosutmes, via pinterest ideas, but I found the bumblebee and ladybug costumes on sale at old navy, and decided to use a credit card point gift card that I had to save me some time.  Soooo glad I bought them, because they LOVE playing with them, and put them on pretty much every day!  I sat them down to take some quick pics, and Loved the way they turned out!
